Za nami kolejny Marsz Życia. Po raz pierwszy odbył się w Łodzi. W trakcie przygotowań wielu z nas miało wrażenie, że to będzie szczególny Marsz. Jestem przekonany, że było to niezwykłe wydarzenie dla Łodzi, wierzę głęboko, że również dla Polski.

Dziękujemy Bogu za piękną pogodę! Szczególnie dlatego że prognozy na 27 sierpnia były bardzo dramatyczne. Bóg wysłuchał naszych modlitw!

Dziękuję wszystkim którzy przyszli na Marsz Życia. Niektórzy przyjechali z bardzo daleka. Twoja obecność miała znaczenie! Kilkaset osób dało świadectwo solidarności z narodem żydowskim i dało wyraz naszego sprzeciwu współczesnemu antysemityzmowi.

Wierzę że to kolejny krok na drodze budowania mostów pojednania i przyjaźni. Dziękuję za obecność delegaci z Tubingen i Niemiec. Byli również goście z Izraela, Ukrainy, Francji, Wielkiej Brytanii, Ameryki. Dziękuję ambasadzie Izraela w Polsce za niezmiennną życzliwość i wsparcie dla naszych inicjatyw i za ciepłe słowa wypowiedziane do nas przez Panią wice ambasador Ruth Cohen-Dar. Jestem pewien że wielu z Was, podobnie jak my, jest pod wrażeniem naszego gościa, posła do Knesetu, Yehudy Glicka. Dziękuję zarówno jemu jak i pracownikowi Knesetu za wzorową współpracę.

Jest tak wiele osób które przyczyniły się do tego, że Marsz odbył, że nie sposób wszystkich wymienić ale wszystkim z serca dziękuję! Powiem tylko, że dla Fundacji „Pojednanie”, było przywilejem animować to wydarzenie w partnerstwie z Gminą Wyznaniową Żydowską w Łodzi. Zyskaliśmy w środowisku łódzkich Żydów nowych przyjaciół.

Drodzy Przyjaciele, żyjemy w takim momencie historii, kiedy to Bóg daje narodom kolejną szansę, żeby stanąć za Izraelem. Zgodnie z obietnicą daną Abrahamowi : „Uczynię z ciebie naród wielki i będę ci błogosławił, i uczynię sławnym imię twoje, tak że staniesz się błogosławieństwem. I będę błogosławił, błogosławiącym tobie, a przeklinających cię przeklinać będę.” 1 Mjż 12, 2-3

Piszę te słowa będąc kolejny raz w Izraelu. Patrzę na kraj który kwitnie /dosłownie!/ pod każdym względem. Dzieje się tak, dlatego że Bóg go odbudowuje, odnawia i błogosławi. Jeśli chcesz błogosławieństwa dla swojego kraju… błogosław Izrael!

Zapraszam na kolejne Marsze. Niech liczba uczestników wzrasta! Niech Polska staje się drugim domem dla Żydów!

Prezes Fundacji Pojednanie

“For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest…” (Isaiah 62:1 KJV)

Another March of Life is behind us. For the first time it took place in Łódź. In the preparation time, many of us had the impression that the March would be special. I am deeply convinced the event was special not only for Łódź but also for the whole Poland. We are grateful to God for the beautiful weather, as the forecast was tragic! God heard our prayers!

I would like to say “Thank you” to every person that attended the March of Life. Some of you came from remote locations. Your presence was what matters! A few hundred people gave testimony of their solidarity with the Israeli nation and expressed their objection to the present antisemitism.

I believe is the next step on the way of building bridges of reconciliation and friendship. I want also to express my gratitude for the presence to the delegates from Tübingen, Germany. We had also guests from Israel, Ukraine, France, Great Britain and the U.S. I would like to thank The Embassy of Israel in Poland for their constant kindness and support for our initiatives as well as for the warm word spoken to us by Ms. Ruth Cohen-Dar, the Deputy Chief of Mission. I am convinced that many of you, just as us, are impressed by our guest, a member of Knesset, Yehuda Glick. I would like to express my gratitude for the perfect cooperation both to him and to the Knesset staff member.

So many people contributed to the event that it is not possible to name them all but I thank you from all of my heart! I can only say that it was a privilege for The Reconciliation Foundation to coordinate the event in partnership with the Jewish Community in Łódź. We have gained new friends within the Community.

Dear Friends, we live in the moment of History when God gives the nations the next chance to stand behind Israel. According to the promise given to Abraham:

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3 KJV)

I am writing these words being in Israel for the next time. I am looking at the country which is (literally!) blooming in each area. It is so because God is rebuilding renewing and blessing her! If you want want a blessing for your country…, bless Israel!

I invite you to the next Marches of Life! May the number of the participants geow! May Poland become the second home for the Jews!
