29 listopada 1947 Zgromadzenie Ogólne Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych przyjęło Rezolucję nr 181. Była to decyzja w sprawie podziału Brytyjskiego Mandatu Palestyny, otwierająca drogę do ustanowienia państw żydowskiego i arabskiego.
Upływa 70 lat od historycznej rezolucji ONZ uchwalonej 29 listopada 1947 roku. Wspaniałą konsekwencją tej rezolucji było odrodzenie się Izraela, jako państwa, po prawie 2 tysiącach lat niebytu. Oficjalnie nastąpiło to w maju 1948 roku. To jeden z największych cudów w XX wieku! Młode państwo natychmiast zostało napadnięte przez ościenne państwa arabskie. Ale to nowo narodzone „dziecko” wygrało tę wojnę i dzisiaj jest dynamicznie rozwijającym się krajem. Miało to miejsce trzy lata po Holokauście. Izrael powstał jakby z popiołów Holokaustu… Odrodził się jak dolina wyschłych kości opisana w Księdze proroka Ezechiela, rozdział 37. Jak mówi Ps 23 „zastawiasz przede mną stół wobec nieprzyjaciół moich.”
W maju 2018 roku spotkajmy się, jako narody świata przyjazne Izraelowi, w Jerozolimie, żeby celebrować ich 70-te urodziny i wyrazić z nimi naszą solidarność.

On November 29th 1947, UN General Assembly approved Resolution 181 which concerned the partition of the British-ruled Palestine Mandate and opened the way to establish a Jewish and an Arab states.
It is now 70 years since the historical UN Resolution was approved on 29th November 1947. A great consequence of the document was the rebirth of Israel that became a state after almost two thousand years on non-existence, which officially came to being in May 1948. It is one of the greatest miracles of the 20th Century! The young State was immediately aggressed by the neighbouring Arab states, but the young “baby” won the war and is today a dynamically developing country. It was just three years after the Holocaust and Israel was as if raised from the ashes. She was reborn like the dry bones in the valley described by the prophet Ezekiel in chapter 37. As the Psalm 23 says “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
In May 2018 let us meet in Jerusalem as the nations that are friendly to Israel to celebrate their 70th birthday and express our solidarity with them.
